InReach NC is seeking caring individuals to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential home setting in Charlotte, NC. This part-time role involves overnight weekend shifts with meals, activities, and documentation duties.

ASL is required; candidates should have 6+ months experience with I/DD or related work, be 21+, and hold a valid driver's license. Training and vehicle use are part of the role, with pay at $17 per hour.

Responsabilités

What We Need

Friendly and caring individuals who work with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) living in a residential home setting in Charlotte, NC.

What You'll Do

• Teach and assist with meal planning and cooking.

Qualifications

• Basic American Sign Language (ASL)
• At least 6 months of previous experience (paid or volunteer) working with the I/DD population or experience relevant to the role; must be verifiable.
• At least 21 years old; prior group home experience preferred.
• A valid Driver's license
• A High School Diploma or GED

Job Type:

Part-time

Hours:

30+ hours over the weekend (Fri-Sun)

Rate:

$17.00 per hour (Earn over $500 per weekend)

Schedule:

Friday 6pm - Sunday 6:30pm (every other weekend; overnight sleep stay Friday & Saturday is required)

• This position does not include pay for time spent sleeping during a shift.
