Job summary

InReach NC in Charlotte, NC is seeking friendly caregivers to support adults with I/DD in a residential home setting. The role involves meal planning, personal care, activities, and medication assistance, with a part-time schedule.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Teach and assist with meal planning and cooking.
• Instruct and assist with household cleaning, personal care & hygiene.
• Provide community recreational activities when available.
• Provide and participate in in-home leisure activities.
• Documentation of activities.
• Help residents develop healthy social habits.
• Dispense medication and monitor dosages.
• Must be willing to drive a full-size passenger van.

What We Need

Friendly and caring individuals who work with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) living in a residential home setting in Charlotte, NC.

What You'll Do

• Teach and assist with meal planning and cooking.

• At least 6 months of previous experience (paid or volunteer) working with the I/DD population or experience relevant to the role; must be verifiable.
