Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. in Monroe, NC is seeking a Residential Helper to assist refuse truck drivers on pre-assigned and special routes across the greater Charlotte area.

You will perform manual lifting, back-door pickups, operate packing mechanisms, and help maintain clean, safe, and courteous service for residents and the community.

No CDL is required; physical stamina is essential, with long shifts and varying weather; training will be provided to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Picks up solid waste and places it in the back of a rear load garbage truck on specified routes.
• Assists Driver and directs backing of the truck from the ground.
• Cleans behind the compactor blade and maintains hopper and truck cleanliness.
• Provides courteous customer service and answers questions from residents.
• Complies with ANSI/OSHA safety policies and company guidelines.
• May be required to work during emergency situations and assist other routes as needed.
