Job summary

Waste Pro, USA is seeking a Helper to assist the refuse truck driver on pre-assigned routes, collecting garbage, yard waste, and recycling. The role emphasizes safe handling, customer service, and teamwork with the driver to ensure timely pickups.

The Helper will lift and load items, back up the truck under supervision, and maintain clean equipment at day’s end. Training and safety protocols follow ANSI/OSHA standards and company guidelines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Picks up solid waste and places it in the back of a rear load garbage truck on specified routes.
• Assists the driver in safely backing up the truck.
• Cleans behind the compactor blade and maintains hopper and truck cleanliness.
• Reports safety or customer service issues to driver or supervisor immediately.
• May be required to work during emergency situations.
