GFL Environmental Inc. in West Point, Virginia, is seeking a CDL driver responsible for residential and recycling collection routes. You will operate side-load or rear-load trucks, load waste and recyclables, and ensure on-route safety and compliance.

The role requires a clean driving record, the ability to perform pre/post-trip inspections, communicate issues, and cooperate with drivers and supervisors to meet route standards.

Competenze

• CDL is required or must be obtained.
• Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive requirements per company standards.

Mansioni

• Operate a residential/recycling collection truck on assigned routes.
• Load solid waste and recyclables into the vehicle.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and reports.
• Maintain a clean vehicle interior and exterior.
• Identify prohibited waste items and remove them from the cart or bin.
• Coordinate with supervisor to improve routing efficiencies.
