City of Gainesville, GA is seeking a Residential Helper for daily waste collection routes. You will ride with a Driver, assist with loading trash and recycling, and perform tasks to ensure timely, courteous service to residents.

This safety-sensitive role requires a High School diploma or GED, a Georgia driver’s license (preferred), ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to undergo pre-employment physical, drug screening, and random testing.

• Knowledge of city geography and major streets helpful.
• Ability to work with a crew to complete routes daily.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks and follow safety policies.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Driver on designated residential waste collection routes.
• Ride on the collection vehicle and help load trash and recycling into the packer truck.
• Operate packing mechanisms and controls to load material.
• Assist with cleaning the truck and removing spillage as needed.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and colleagues daily.
• Maintain safety and productivity standards and work in various weather conditions.
• Be available for overtime and recall in emergencies.
