Job summary

Pioneer Human Services in Washington state is seeking a Residential Treatment Specialist (Temporary 4/10s) to support residents with individualized treatment plans and to deliver cost-effective behavioral health services. The role involves daily activity planning, documentation, and ensuring safety and hygiene in the living environment.

Responsibilities include supervising residents, evaluating behaviors, documenting observations for the treatment plan, and transporting clients to activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Agency Affiliated Counselor credentials within 60 days.
• First Aid/CPR certification before first independent shift.
• Strong written/verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and internet navigation.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Explain program policies to residents and document daily shift activities.
• Supervise resident movement, activity and rule compliance.
• Assess resident behaviors and coordinate structured activities for recovery.
• Provide input to the Individual Treatment Plan and maintain health/hygiene support.
• Transport residents to activities; drive a 15-passenger van when needed.
• Complete intake and discharge procedures and participate in staff meetings.
