Job summary

Devereux Arizona is seeking a Program Coordinator (Supervisor) to lead our Residential Treatment Center team in Scottsdale. This role focuses on coaching staff, addressing day-to-day challenges, and creating a safe, therapeutic environment for youth aged 7–17.

The position requires leadership experience, a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and a willingness to work Sundays through Wednesdays, with weekends required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year related experience; OR AA degree and two years related experience; OR HS diploma or GED and four years related experience.
• One (1) year supervisory or leadership experience required; internal supervisory/leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop Direct Care Staff
• Support the training and onboarding of new employees
• Interview candidates and assist with evaluating staffing needs
• Create and manage employee schedules
• Help ensure a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for youth
• Work closely with youth and their families throughout the treatment program
• Ensure scheduled activities and program expectations are followed
• Develop fun, creative activities and interventions that support a positive therapeutic environment
• Complete required documentation and incident reports
• Help ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures
