Job summary

Devereux Georgia is seeking a Program Supervisor to oversee operations in our Psychiatric Residential Intensive Treatment Program for adolescents aged 10-21. You will supervise Direct Support Professionals, mentor staff, and ensure quality programming, regulatory compliance, and trauma-informed care.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 2+ years of supervisory experience in behavioral health, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in counseling, mental health, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education, or human services preferred; OR 60 college credits in human services.
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred (degree); or four years of supervisory experience in a mental health related discipline required (non-degree).
• Direct care experience with the I/DD population, specifically children and adolescents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive training in crisis prevention/intervention, trauma informed care, CPR, first aid and more!
• Providing quality care and motivation to the children and adolescents we service.
• Supervising Direct Support Professionals and providing mentorship.
• Implementing programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical and personal needs of clients.
• Assisting, supporting and instructing individuals in self-help skills designed to encourage independence.
• Establishing and maintaining a therapeutic rapport with individuals.
• Overseeing operations in our PRTF for adolescent clients; administrative tasks as needed.
