Job summary

Devereux Arizona’s Residential Treatment Center in Scottsdale seeks a licensed master’s level clinician to provide trauma-informed therapy to youth ages 7 to 17 in a structured, therapeutic setting.

You will conduct individual, group, and family therapy, complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and support safety planning while collaborating with a diverse Child and Family Team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required: Counseling or Social Work preferred; Psychology considered depending on coursework and direct therapy experience.
• One year clinician experience and ability to obtain licensure through AZ Behavioral Health Examiners process.
• Proficient computer skills and strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions with a focus on trauma-informed care.
• Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and formulate tailored treatment plans; write discharge summaries.
• Provide crisis intervention and assist in creating safety plans for behavioral health crises.
• Collaborate with the Child and Family Team, psychiatrists, direct care staff, and case managers.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
