Job summary

The Salvation Army in Indiana is hiring a Residential Treatment Counselor to develop individualized treatment plans and deliver case management and counseling services. You will maintain a caseload, conduct individual, family and group counseling, and document progress in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in human services or related field, two years of direct service experience, and the ability to work some evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services or related field required.
• Background checks required and results reviewed.
• Two years of direct service experience; willingness to work at least one evening per week and some weekends.
• Must complete Safe From Harm training within 30 days; ICAADA certification preferred or within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each client.
• Provide case management services as needed for assigned clients.
• Maintain caseload and conduct individual, family and group counseling.
• Document progress and treatment plans in the EMR system.
• Present cases with the multi-disciplinary team; participate in staffing and discharge planning.
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with applicable standards and policies.
