Job summary

The Salvation Army in Indiana is seeking a Residential Treatment Counselor to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, provide case management, and deliver individual, family, and group counseling. You will document progress in the EMR and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure holistic client care.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in human services, two years of direct service experience, and readiness for evening/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services or related field required.
• Two years of direct service experience.
• Willing to work at least one evening per week and some weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and Safe From Harm training within 30 days; ICAADA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide case management services as needed.
• Conduct individual, family and group counseling as noted in the treatment plan.
• Document progress in the electronic medical record system.
• Present cases to the multidisciplinary team for staffing and discharge planning.
• Maintain client confidentiality per policies.
