Job summary

SSTARBIRTH in Cranston, RI seeks a Part-Time Residential Team Leader to lead daily activities and support families in a recovery-focused setting. The role emphasizes safety, trauma-informed engagement with women and children, and thorough documentation.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED and experience in human services or recovery settings. The position offers weekend coverage within an 8–16 hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Implement and support the daily program schedule and structured activities
• Supervise residents and their children in a trauma-informed, respectful manner
• Ensure safety and well-being of residents and children at all times
• Monitor and document client self-administration of medications per protocols
• Complete accurate shift documentation and reports
• Maintain professional boundaries while fostering a supportive environment

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Part-TimeResidential Team Leader to join our dedicated team. Inthis rewarding role, you'll provide leadership, encouragement, andsupport within a safe, recovery-focused environment where every dayoffers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the livesof women and children.

Schedule

• 8–16 hours per week
• Must include weekend availability

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and support the daily program schedule and structured activities
• Supervise and engage with residents and their children in atrauma-informed, respectful manner
• Ensure the safety, security, and well-being ofresidents and children at all times
• Monitor and document client self-administration of medications inaccordance with program protocols
• Complete accurate and timely shift documentation and reports
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries while fostering asupportive environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience inhuman services preferred
• Experience working with individuals in recovery, women, orfamilies strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics
