Job summary

Recovery Network in Baltimore, MD is seeking a highly motivated Residential Aide for full-time overnight shifts (Mon–Fri 11:00pm–8:00am; Saturdays and Sundays off). This role supports individuals in addiction treatment and behavioral health, while strictly following HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities include monitoring clients during shifts, conducting rounds, ensuring daily schedules are followed, assisting with intakes, documenting medications and urinalysis, and communicating professionally

Qualifications

  • Observes and documents changes in client condition and behavior.
  • Understanding of addiction, mental health, and recovery.
  • Experience in behavioral health setting is a plus.
  • Able to adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor all clients during assigned shift.
  • Conduct rounds around the property.
  • Ensure daily program/schedule is followed.
  • Assist with new intakes, complete room searches, monitor mealtimes, etc.
  • Observe and document medication intake and urinalysis.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, staff and supervisors.
  • Keep staff informed of client challenges or behavioral issues.
  • Provide accurate information during shift changes via written and verbal communication.
  • Attend team meetings as necessary and adapt to schedule changes.

Recovery Network provides quality addiction treatment, behavioral health therapy & treatment for individuals with a dual diagnosis. We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, & professional, full-time, Residential Aide to join our team! Hours:
  • Full-time
  • Monday - 11:00pm - 8:00am - (overnight shift)
  • Tuesday - 11:00pm - 8:00am - (overnight shift)
  • Wednesday - 11:00pm - 8:00am - (overnight shift)
  • Thursday -11:00pm - 8:00am - (overnight shift)
  • Friday -11:00pm - 8:00am - (overnight shift)
  • Saturday - OFF
  • Sunday - OFF
Responsibilities include:
  • Is responsible for monitoring all clients throughout their assigned shift.
  • Ability to conduct regular "rounds" around the entire property.
  • Ensures daily program / schedule is being followed.
  • Assist with new intakes, complete room searches, monitor mealtimes, etc.
  • Observes & documents all clients taking and / or refusing their prescribed or over the counter medications.
  • Monitor & observe urinalysis as needed / scheduled.
  • Communicates in a professional manner with all clients, staff & supervisors.
  • Keeps all program staff members informed of all client's current challenges or behavioral issues.
  • Provides accurate information during shift changes via written & verbal communication in a professional manner.
  • Attends team meetings as necessary / scheduled.
  • Can quickly adapt to changes in schedules, routines & work assignments.
  • Ability to deescalate.
  • Ability to maintain ethical & professional boundaries with all clients & staff.
  • Understands & abides by HIPAA guidelines / requirements at all times.
Qualifications include:
  • Ability to observe, identify, document, & inform others if physical, cognitive & behavioral changes are a concern.
  • Understands the field of addiction, mental health, & recovery.
  • Prior experience in a Behavioral Health setting is a plus.
  • Open to learning about & understanding ASAM criteria guidelines, Stages of Change, 12 step recovery, etc.
