Road To Responsibility, Inc. is seeking a Residential Support Specialist to help individuals with developmental disabilities live safely and independently in a home setting. You will work closely with the Residential Manager to provide hands-on support, skill-building, and daily care that enhances quality of life.

The role emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and dependable service. A Bachelor’s degree or at least one year in human services is required, along with a valid driver’s license and

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree and/or at least 1 year direct experience in human services.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Able to complete required trainings including medication administration.
• Must pass background checks as required by state and agency.

Mansioni

• Provide direct support and skill-building in daily living activities.
• Assist with personal care needs including hygiene, meals, dressing, and mobility.
• Support participation in community activities, appointments, and social events.
• Provide transportation as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment.
• Complete daily documentation and shift reports.
• Administer medications following established procedures.
• Implement behavioral support plans and safety interventions when needed.
• Support individuals with medical appointments and related documentation.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing development.
• Provide coaching to new staff as directed.
