Job summary

Waystone Health & Human Services seeks compassionate Direct Support Professionals in Salisbury, MA. You will assist individuals with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and transportation in a group home setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English to follow care plans.
• Experience providing training and case management to adults with disabilities.
• MAP Certification training offered within 6 months of employment.
• CPR/First Aid training offered within 3 months of employment.
• Valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and personal hygiene.
• Transport individuals using wheelchair-accessible vans to appointments and activities.
• Complete Individual Support Plans (ISP) and daily logs; track behavioral data.
• Assist with medication administration and maintain documentation.
• Provide companionship, mentorship, and maintain confidentiality and dignity.
