Job summary

RTR is seeking a Residential Support Specialist to help individuals with developmental disabilities live safely, independently, and meaningfully in a residential setting. You will support daily living activities, personal care, and community participation while documenting progress and coordinating with the team.

This hands-on role requires compassion, reliability, and teamwork. A valid driver’s license and completion of required trainings are needed; experience in human services is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent; one year direct human services experience acceptable.
Experience providing daily living assistance and support.
Ability to follow medication administration procedures and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Provide direct support and skill-building in daily living activities.
Assist individuals with personal care needs and mobility.
Support participation in community activities and appointments.
Maintain a clean, safe home environment and complete daily shift reports.
