Easterseals NH is seeking Residential Support Counselors in Nottingham, NH to join a compassionate team. This full-time role offers 38 hours weekly with weekend shifts, and compensation at $24 per hour.

Providing support in two residential homes, staff promote independence and safety for adults in a supportive environment. Responsibilities include daily living assistance, medication administration, light housekeeping, meals, and community outings, all while following each client’s care plan and

• 1 year of experience in Human Services
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance

Hours: Full-time 38 hours a week

• Sunday 7a-9p
• Monday 3p-9p
• Tuesday 3p-9p
• Wednesday 3p-9p
• Thursday 3p-9p

Must be able to work one weekend shift per week.

Compensation: $24 hourly

Location: Nottingham, NH (2 miles from Lee traffic circle)

Responsibilities:

The Residential Support Counselor will support in promoting independence, creating a safe environment, and providing companionship to clients in a residential home setting. Staff in this location will have the opportunity to support adults in two adjacent homes.

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and medication administration
• Support and assist with household tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
• Accompany individuals on outings such as daily activities, appointments, and community events
• Follow each individuals care plan
• All staff will undergo training in conflict resolution and behavioral health safety
• Complete required daily documentation
• Other duties as needed or assigned

Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience working in the Human Services field
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
