Job summary

Prestera Center for Mental Health Services seeks a supervising staff member to lead departmental staff, assign duties, and provide daily guidance. The role ensures policy adherence, maintains job descriptions, and mentors staff while conducting performance appraisals.

You will participate in hiring, disciplinary actions, and coordinating regulatory guidelines for the program, including IDDW Medicaid and Behavioral Health Licensure Regulations; monthly audits will ensure compliance and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field.
• AMAP certificate required; valid driver’s license.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word; experience with Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with EHR and scheduling systems.
• Knowledge of IDDW Medicaid and Behavioral Health Licensure Regulations.
• Strong supervisory, training, and staff development skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise departmental staff and assign duties; provide daily guidance.
• Ensure staff receive necessary training and adhere to policies.
• Contribute to maintenance of departmental job descriptions.
• Mentor staff and conduct performance appraisals.
• Participate in hiring, disciplinary, and termination processes.
• Coordinate and manage regulatory guidelines for the program.
• Ensure compliance with IDDW Medicaid and Licensure regulations; conduct monthly audits.
• Ensure staff maintain mandatory trainings and scheduling.
• Maintain a minimum two-week work schedule for group home.
• Work environment involves interaction with disruptive or distressed individuals.
