Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington State seeks a mid-level Substance Use Disorder Counselor to provide direct counseling in a secure residential setting. You will handle one-to-one and group sessions, perform assessments, and maintain records in accordance with ASAM criteria.

The role requires an active SUDP or SUDPT license, up to three years of experience, and a commitment to confidentiality, compliance with state regulations, and collaborative care with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active SUDP license per WA DOH.
• Up to 3 years of experience as a SUDP.
• Ability to provide individual and group counseling in residential settings.

Responsibilities

• Carry a minimum caseload of 8 to 10 active cases.
• Screen and evaluate individuals; refer to programs as needed.
• Provide individual and group counseling for substance use and mental health issues.
• Serve as the primary case manager for up to ten youth.
• Complete required forms and reports for treatment and courts.
