Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for the youth outpatient program. This role supervises substance use disorder outpatient providers, conducts groups and assessments, and coordinates with administration to develop a co-occurring program for the site.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a related field, licensure as a Mental Health Professional (preferred), and at least five years of experience; candidates must meet WAC/DBHR/TJC standards and maintain

Qualifications

• Cultural knowledge: knowledge and experience working with Latinos, migrant and seasonal farm workers and homeless individuals preferred.
• Language skills: ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before clients or employees.
• Mathematical skills: ability to calculate figures, discounts, interest and other math concepts.
• Reasoning ability: apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in interviewing and selecting candidates for employment, training employees, planning and directing work. Review client charts for compliance with requirements.
• Provide individual and group supervision to mental health, Substance Abuse and Chemical Dependency staff, peer specialists, case managers, and nonclinical staff.
• Review and approve therapists’ clinical documentation in Epic; ensure timely progress notes.
• Collaborate to ensure staff meets weekly service hours and monthly productivity requirements.
• Ensure staff have full caseloads and good distribution; ensure client retention and treatment success.
• Maintain HIPAA and 42 CFR confidentiality; ensure compliance with WAC, County and State contracts.
