Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Seattle, WA is hiring an entry-level Group Life Counselor I to join a multi-disciplinary team in a residential setting. You will assist with admissions, monitor patient behavior, facilitate groups, and support treatment plans for high-risk youth and families with chemical dependency and mental health needs.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, accurate record keeping, and collaboration with counselors and community resources.

Formación

• Good character and ability to support adolescents and adults.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Understanding that chemical dependency is a treatable condition.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, procedures and forms.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct services in a residential setting as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain daily logs and progress notes for patients.
• Assist in group facilitation and milieu management.
• Support treatment planning and referrals within the facility and community.
• Supervise patients during shifts and participate in safety procedures.
