Intercept Health is seeking a part-time Residential Specialist to serve as a positive role model for residents and support treatment planning. The role emphasizes modeling constructive values, attitudes, and behaviors within residents and requires weekend availability.

Education paths include a Bachelor's in Human Services or an Associate's with experience, or a HS diploma with applicable experience, or Virginia Peer Recovery Specialist certification progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services is required OR
• Associate's Degree with at least three months experience working with adults with substance use disorders OR
• HS Diploma/GED with at least six months experience working with adults with substance use disorders OR
• Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist (VA) or actively pursuing certification

Responsibilities

• Serve as a positive role model for residents and foster supportive behaviors.
• Contribute to formulation and implementation of resident treatment plans.
• Model socially effective values, attitudes, and behaviors for residents.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Human Services

Associate's Degree with 3 months experience

High School Diploma or GED with 6 months experience

Peer Recovery Specialist Certification (Virginia)
