Job summary

Intercept Health is seeking a Residential Specialist in Roanoke, VA to serve as a positive role model and support resident treatment plans. You will perform safety rounds, schedule and transport appointments, and assist with medication administration while engaging residents in therapeutic activities.

The role reports to the Program Manager and requires relevant education or experience as outlined in the job description.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Associate/HS with relevant experience per the job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Make rounds minimally every half-hour to ensure resident safety.
• Facilitate resident medical and other outside appointments and transport residents.
• Administer medications as appropriate.
• Organize recreational and leisure activities to build skills and interests.
• Notify supervisor of unusual events and complete required documentation.

Bachelor's Degree in Human Services (Virginia Board of Counseling approved)
