Job summary

Intercept Health in Virginia seeks a Residential Specialist for weekend evenings or weekend days to supervise and guide youth in a structured therapeutic setting.

You will support treatment planning, model positive behaviors, and collaborate with the Program Manager to help residents progress. A high school diploma or GED with experience with children is required; further education may be preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least six months of experience working with children, OR an Associate's Degree and at least three months of experience working with children, OR a Bachelor's Degree in a Virginia DHProfs approved Human Service degree.

Responsibilities

• As a Residential Specialist, you will be responsible for serving as a positive role model for children and adolescents in a therapeutic placement in need of a structured therapeutic environment.
• The Residential Specialist contributes to the formulation and implementation of resident treatment plans and works via role modeling to develop socially effective values, attitudes, and behaviors within residents.
• Reports to the Program Manager.

Residential Specialist - FreshSTART

This position is for weekend evenings (Saturday and Sunday 3pm - 12am) or weekend days.

Compensation $18.00-$20.00 per hour based on experience, education, and certification.
