Prologue, Inc. is seeking a Residential Specialist for every other weekend (9am–9pm) to assist individuals in recovery from mental illness within residential settings. The role emphasizes skills training, independence, and person-centered support in a community-based environment.

The position requires a high school diploma and relies on teamwork, safe driving, clear communication, and a commitment to recovery. Background checks and reference verification are required before hire.

Formación

• A high school diploma is required and experience in human service delivery is preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team is necessary.
• A good driving record is also essential.
• Ability to respect individual choice in the recovery process and a commitment to recovery through the psychiatric rehabilitation process is required.
• Good verbal communication skills and the ability to respect the abilities and limitations of consumers.

Responsabilidades

• Provide in-person residential program coverage by working in the residential units facilitating rehabilitation services and skills training.
• Perform medication monitoring services
• Assist consumers with implementing Individual Service Plans to reach goals
• Facilitate group and individual activities
• Provide transportation using company vehicles to assist consumers in using community resources
• Utilize Electronic Health Record to record services and documentation for billing
• Document activities and services in log book to promote communication between shifts
• Assist consumers with independent living skills
• Communicate with supervisors and other employees to ensure continuum of service
• Engage in crisis management
• Utilize systems for internal communication, including work email and time and attendance systems to clock in and out of every shift worked and verify time on the last day worked of pay cycle
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisors
