Job summary

HCRS is seeking a Residential Specialist for the 3rd shift Awake Overnight in Springfield, VT. The role focuses on helping individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges achieve independent living and emotional regulation goals.

The position offers competitive hourly pay ($20–$23.25), shift and weekend differentials, 4 weeks PTO (pro-rated), 12 sick days, 9 holidays per year, plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus and other benefits.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; Associate’s/Bachelor’s preferred in psychology, social work or human services.
• Experience with individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation.

Residential Specialist

The pay range for this position is $20-$23.25 per hour.

Starting with 4 weeks of paid time off (pro-rated) plus 12 sick days and 9 holidays per year!

Includes shift differential, additional weekend differential, and generous holiday pay!

$2,000 sign-on bonus

To be successful as a Residential Specialist, you will have:

• A high school diploma or GED or preferably, an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or another human services field
• Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges
• A valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation
• A positive attitude of compassion, respect, and ability to set appropriate boundaries as a caregiver
