Job summary

HCRS (Health Care & Rehabilitation Services of Southeastern Vermont) in Brattleboro seeks a Residential Specialist to support individuals living with mental health and/or substance use challenges to develop independent living and emotional regulation skills that are integral to accomplishing their identified treatment goals.

The pay range for this position is $20-$23.25 per hour, plus 4 weeks of paid time off (pro-rated) plus 12 sick days and 9 holidays per year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or an Associate/ Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or another human services field.
• Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges.
• A valid driver's license, car insurance and reliable transportation.
• A positive attitude of compassion, respect, and ability to set appropriate boundaries as a caregiver.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals living with mental health and/or substance use challenges to develop independent living skills and emotional regulation skills.
• Contribute to achieving identified treatment goals as part of a care team.
