Job summary

Open Arms Care Corporation in Nashville, TN is seeking a Site Operations Manager - House Manager ID/IDD to lead DSPs and shift supervisors, ensure a safe, welcoming residential environment, and coordinate across departments.

You will oversee hiring, scheduling, payroll, budget, supply inventories, and compliance with safety and licensure; require 3+ years in ID/DD and 2+ years of supervision; CPR/PCM training provided by Open Arms Care; valid driver’s license; strong communication and computer

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the ID/DD field supporting clients.
• 2+ years of supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire (provided by Open Arms Care).
• PCM certification within 60 days of hire (provided by Open Arms Care).
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and other applications.

Responsibilities

• Represent OAC in positive, professional community engagements.
• Assist in hiring, selection, and placement activities to ensure qualified staff.
• Foster a supportive, collaborative work environment for all employees.
• Communicate plans of care to work teams on site.
• Weekly inventory updates of supplies.
• Alternate on-call responsibilities including weekend visits.
• Oversee budgetary obligations and HR tasks (payroll, scheduling, reviews).
• Ensure a safe, clean living/working environment per safety standards and licensure.
• Attend Safety Committee and Incident Management meetings; follow up as needed.
• Ensure documentation accuracy (bed checks, shift notes).
• Attend site meetings; liaise with parents/guardians when needed.
• Collaborate with Program Manager and Site Nurse on weekly planning.
• Maintain activity calendars and community integration for clients.
• Provide coverage at other sites when required.
