Job summary

St. John's Community Services in Memphis, TN seeks a Team Lead – Residential to support individuals with disabilities in both operated and supported living settings. The role emphasizes safe living environments, self-direction, and community integration.

You will build and guide a team of residential support specialists, ensure ISP plans are implemented, coordinate scheduling, and participate in trainings, with on-call coverage and administrative duties to ensure high-quality services.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience working with people with disabilities; experience in community-based programs preferred.
• Minimum one-year supervisory experience required.
• Valid health certificate to meet agency or funding authority requirements.
• Complete criminal background and record checks as required by SJCS and funding authorities.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a strong, collaborative team of residential support specialists.
• Provide residential support staffing as indicated in annual budgets; provide direct coverage during emergencies and maintain 24-hour on-call management coverage.
• Lead the residential support specialist team to develop, implement, and oversee all activities supporting the operation of assigned Community Living departments.
• Ensure full implementation and documentation of each person’s ISP; attend all assessment and ISP meetings.
• Ensure staff are trained in Behavior Support Plans and that required data is collected accurately and per plan stipulations.
