Job summary

The Center for Family Support in New York oversees the daily operation of the residence, supervising Direct Support Professionals and ensuring individuals receive quality supports within OPWDD regulations.

The organization emphasizes staff development, policy implementation, and coordination with related programs to maintain high quality services for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Services or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities with 1+ years of experience in program supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, implement and evaluate individual program plans and maintain records per OPWDD/state/federal regulations.
• Hire, train and supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
• Orient and evaluate residential staff; enforce progressive discipline and staff development.
• Implement all policies, procedures and programs per OPWDD guidelines.
• Attend and participate in team meetings and clinical meetings.
• Ensure timely submission of payroll, Re Hab, Incident Reports/Investigations, etc.
