Job summary

Trinity Services, Inc. invites an experienced Residential Associate Director to lead day-to-day residential services across multiple locations in Illinois.

You will supervise staff, ensure quality person-centered services, and maintain regulatory compliance, health and safety, and effective transitions for people supported. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field; pursuing candidates may be considered.
• Minimum of three years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in services for people with IDD.
• Experience in community-based residential services preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, develop staff, manage priorities, and support quality outcomes.
• Working knowledge of Illinois DHS/DD, CILA, Medicaid-funded services, and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day leadership for residential services within the assigned network.
• Maintain regular presence across locations to observe services and ensure follow-through.
• Supervise, coach, and develop network leadership and staff; conduct bi-weekly supervision.
• Set clear expectations and ensure performance, service quality, and compliance.
• Identify training needs, provide coaching, and address performance concerns.
• Promote person-centered practices and outcomes for people supported.
• Ensure readiness for surveys, audits, and external reviews with timely corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Nursing, QA, Employee Services, Intake, and other departments.
• Respond to incidents, staffing concerns, and health and safety matters as needed.
