Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks a Director of Residential Services for Bergen County, NJ to oversee development, implementation, and quality of residential programs. You will ensure compliant operations, supervise staff, and support client-centered services.

The role includes managing intake, staffing coverage, occupancy targets, regulatory adherence, and staff development while collaborating with licensing agencies to uphold agency goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree plus 2 years’ administrative experience in behavioral health.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years’ administrative experience (including 2 years supervisory).
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license with a clean driving record (minimum 3 years).
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with behavioral healthcare practices, especially with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage residential program operations and assigned staff.
• Ensure adequate staffing coverage and maintain target occupancy levels.
• Participate in intake assessments and admissions processes.
• Monitor program compliance with federal/state regulations and agency policies.
• Serve as program administrator to ensure effective daily operations.
• Support staff training, supervision, and professional development.
• Collaborate with licensing and regulatory agencies during inspections.
• Report incidents in accordance with applicable policies.
• Promote a culture aligned with the organization’s mission, values, and quality standards.
