Job summary

Cardinal McCloskey Community Services (CMCS) seeks a Program Coordinator to lead residential programs serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in New York. You will provide leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive person-centered care across multiple sites.

You will supervise Residence Managers, support staff, participate in intake/admission, and generate reports to improve outcomes. Strong knowledge of OPWDD guidelines is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Five years of supervisory experience in OPWDD/OCFS residential programs.
• Strong knowledge of OPWDD regulations and best practices.
• Leadership, management, and team-building experience.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with electronic health records and documentation systems.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily operations of residential programs, ensuring service delivery and compliance.
• Supervise Residence Managers and program staff.
• Participate in intake, screening, admission, and discharge processes.
• Promote person-centered planning and implement Life Plans and related documentation.
• Conduct quality assurance activities and monitor outcomes.
• Collaborate with clinicians, families, and partners to meet needs.
• Monitor programs to promote independence and community inclusion.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and developing staff.
