Job summary

Paradigm is seeking a Service Technician to join our service team in Alexandria, VA. You will assess and complete work orders for repairs and improvements, maintaining the value of our apartment community.

Responsibilities include completing repairs across electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry and HVAC, preparing units for new residents, and on-call rotation. Strong customer service and valid DL required; HVAC cert is a plus.

Qualifications

Residential maintenance experience including basic plumbing, electrical, painting, appliance repair and carpentry.
HVAC certification is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and frequent lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; access to property within 30 minutes for on-call.
Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Complete service requests including electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs, carpentry and HVAC repair.
Prepare apartments for new residents to meet quality standards.
Handle on-call service rotations and weather-related work as needed.
Assist with maintenance operations and special projects as directed.
Collaborate with maintenance and property departments to create a positive environment for residents.
