Job summary

Community Housing Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Triangle, VA to diagnose and repair building systems, perform preventative maintenance, and handle apartment turnovers. You’ll respond to resident requests promptly and participate in an on-call rotation with emergency support as needed.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of maintenance experience and strong troubleshooting skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
• Valid driver's license required or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete routine and moderately complex repairs across building systems.
• Respond to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled inspections.
• Maintain the appearance and functionality of buildings, grounds, and common areas.
• Complete apartment turnovers within established timelines.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance issues.
• Assist with vendor and contractor coordination as needed.
• Maintain accurate work order documentation using mobile maintenance software.
• Follow all safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and company policies.
