Wan Bridge / TBD Management is hiring a Service Technician to maintain and repair residential communities. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to service requests, and support make-ready and onboarding of homes, while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, strong communications with residents and onsite teams, and the ability to manage documentation and inventory while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong background in residential construction and remodeling across multiple trades.
• A valid driver’s license, valid insurance, and reliable work transportation.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification is required.
• Experience with drywall, texturing, painting, and basic mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of applicable codes, municipal bylaws, inspections, estimating, and planning.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and a high level of proficiency using handheld smart devices, such as an iPad.
• General knowledge and experience reading, writing, and evaluating project specifications and technical scopes of work.

Responsabilités

• Preventative Maintenance: Complete scheduled quarterly and seasonal preventative maintenance; Check HVAC systems and replace filters; Replace smoke detector batteries; Adjust irrigation settings.
• Repairs and Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to resident service requests and resolve issues; Diagnose and repair maintenance issues; Notify Service Coordinators when repair cannot be completed or materials are needed.
• Make-Ready and Home Readiness: Complete move-out inspections and move-in orientations; Prepare homes for the market within budget and timeline.
• Emergency Response: Be available for emergency maintenance calls; Respond to water leaks, power outages, HVAC failures.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of maintenance and repairs; Provide updates to Service Coordinators.
• Resident Service and Teamwork: Communicate with residents professionally; Deliver high level of customer service; Collaborate with other departments.
• Safety and Inventory: Follow safety protocols; Monitor supplies and equipment; Keep inventory organized.
