Job summary

Wan Bridge is seeking a Service Technician in the South Dallas area to maintain and repair TBD properties, ensuring top condition and resident satisfaction. You will respond to service requests, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventative maintenance across multiple trades.

The role requires a High School Diploma, EPA Type II or Universal certification, a valid Texas driver’s license and insurance, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong background in residential construction and remodeling in multiple trades.
• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license, valid insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Experience with drywall and texturing, paint, and basic mechanicals (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, water irrigation systems, stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings, roofing/ceiling leaks, interior/exterior lights and fans, flooring, doors, cabinets, windows, sliding glass doors and locks).
• Knowledgeable of codes, municipal by-laws, inspection, estimating, and planning.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld device proficiency.
• Type II or Universal EPA certification required.
• General knowledge and experience of reading, writing, and evaluating project specifications and technical scopes of work.

Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance on TBD properties.
• Irrigation settings – Seasonal: Adjust irrigation settings seasonally.
• Repairs and Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair systems.
• Make Ready: Prepare properties for occupancy.
• Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies as needed.
• Documentation and Reporting: Document work and report results.
• Resident Communication: Communicate with residents about work.
• Safety and SOP Compliance: Follow safety guidelines and SOPs.
• Inventory management: Track and manage parts inventory.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with team and vendors.
