Job summary

Prime Residential is seeking a Service Technician II in Portland, OR to drive maintenance and upkeep across the community. You will handle resident requests, prepare vacant units for occupancy, ensure safety and cleanliness, and support overall community appearance and operations.

The role requires 2+ years in residential maintenance, a valid driver's license, and willingness to join a mandatory on-call rotation. HVAC certification is preferred; on-site working hours apply.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in residential property maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license for community vehicles [and/or golf carts].
• Must participate in the on-call rotation.
• Multi-Family housing experience preferred.
• HVAC Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform routine maintenance on appliances, building exteriors, doors, locks, electrical systems, plumbing, pools, and safety equipment.
• Prepare and update reports, work orders, and trackers.
• Inspect and prepare vacated apartments for new residents to meet market-ready standards.
• Perform routine fire and life/safety inspections and annual unit inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of preventative maintenance and service requests using the mobile facilities app.
• Respond to resident inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
• Ensure the community is free of unsafe conditions and address issues promptly.
