Job summary

Mark-Taylor is hiring a Service Technician at Park Place in Fountain Hills, AZ. You will handle maintenance repairs and upkeep to keep our communities running smoothly and deliver five-star service that makes Mark-Taylor feel like home.

Base pay is $22.00/hour with a $3.00/hour on-call incentive and additional pay for EPA, CPO, and OSHA certifications; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, and housing discounts.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, and related standards.
• Knowledge of building systems and safety compliance.
• Service-oriented and customer-focused mindset.
• Basic computer skills for work orders and communication.
• Experience as apartment turn technician or make-ready/work order technician preferred.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completion of make-ready units to Mark-Taylor standards and maintain adequate supply of make-ready units.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor AC/heating, appliances, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and drywall issues.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available.
• Perform daily pool care and ensure chemical balance and safety.
• Perform minor roof repairs, re-key locks, and cut keys.
• Inspect property for safety hazards and inform Manager of Facilities and Service.
• Share on-call duty and be available in uniform/badge when needed.
• Assist in monitoring inventory of parts and cleaning supplies.
