Job summary

Mark-Taylor is hiring a Service Technician in Gilbert, AZ to keep communities running smoothly by handling maintenance and repairs. You will support make-ready units, troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues, and contribute to the community's safety and comfort.

Base pay ranges from $22.00/hr to $23.00/hr, with an extra $3.00/hour on-call incentive for on-call shifts, and additional pay for EPA, CPO, and OSHA certifications.

Qualifications

• General knowledge in plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, carpentry and OSHA standards.
• Experience as a Service Technician in multifamily is preferred.
• HVAC troubleshooting and diagnosis is required.
• EPA certification upon hire or willingness to obtain it.
• Knowledge of building systems and basic computer skills.
• Good written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in make-ready units to Mark-Taylor standards and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and drywall issues.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance in vacant units.
• Daily pool care and chemical balance maintenance.
• Inspect property for safety hazards and report to Facilities Manager.
• Share on-call duties and respond in uniform when needed.
• Monitor inventory of parts and cleaning supplies.
