Job summary

TLC Management Co. is seeking an experienced Service Technician for our Arlington Heights, IL property. You will maintain apartment homes, common areas, and grounds focusing on efficiency, safety, and asset protection.

The role supports the Service Manager by managing expenses, conducting preventative maintenance, conserving energy, and delivering outstanding resident service. Compensation ranges from $22 to $24 per hour, based on experience, with commissions and quarterly bonus potential.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years of maintenance experience in a fast-paced residential community is required.
• Experience in painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems is required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of safe and proper use of common tools, cleaning products and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily property walks to ensure cleanliness and address safety concerns.
• Complete unit turns according to the property checklist within established deadlines.
• Be available to respond to after-hours emergency calls 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
• Promote workplace harmony and uphold a positive company image.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Community Manager and Service Manager.
