A local plumbing service provider in Grand Rapids is looking for a motivated Residential Service Plumber. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, installing, and repairing plumbing systems, as well as educating customers and maintaining documentation. The ideal candidate has a Journeyman Plumber License, excellent communication skills, and at least 2 years of experience. Position

Residential Service Plumber

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, installing, and repairing plumbing systems
• Developing and presenting recommendations to customers
• Educating customers on the proper use and upkeep of plumbing systems
• Completing all required documentation, including service logs and job reports
• Following safety protocols and upholding Vander Hyde’s commitment to quality workmanship
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment on job sites and in company vehicles
• Staying current with industry best practices, tools, and technology

Working Hours

Monday through Friday, 8:00 - 5:00 pm (based on demand, hours may vary)

What We’re Looking For

• Journeyman Plumber License, preferred
• 2+ Years of experience in plumbing service
• Advanced knowledge of plumbing systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
• Must possess your own basic hand tools
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
