Qualifications

• Type II EPA Certification or Universal EPA.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• Must possess your own basic hand tools.
• Capability to start-up and adjust systems independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, diagnose and install or replace HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot system issues and perform diagnostics for efficient operation.
• Present recommendations to customers on effective solutions.
• Keep work sites and company vehicles clean, safe and organized.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Complete service logs and job reports.

Position: HVAC Residential Service Technician

Pay: $28.00 - 45.00 hourly, based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, repair, diagnose and correctly install or replace HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot system issues and perform diagnostics to ensure efficient operation
• Preparing and presenting recommendations to customers on most efficient solutions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment on job sites and in company vehicles
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members
• Complete all required documentation, including service logs and job reports
• Follow safety protocols and uphold Vander Hyde's commitment to quality workmanship
• Stay current with industry best practices, tools, and technology

Working Hours

Monday through Friday, 8:00 - 5:00pm with occasional overtime based on demand

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ Years of experience in HVAC service
• Type II EPA Certification or Universal EPA
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
• Must possess your own basic hand tools
• Capability to handle system start-up and adjustments independently
