Job summary

Vredevoogd Heating & Cooling is seeking qualified plumbers to diagnose, repair, and install residential plumbing systems. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and troubleshoot issues while maintaining safe, organized job sites.

You will mentor apprentices and collaborate with the team to complete projects on time. We value safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement, offering a long-term career with stability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Journeyman plumber license preferred or ready to test.
• Valid driver’s license with insurability.
• Ability to pass drug screenings and background check.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, codes and best practices.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Plumber license preferred (or readiness to test).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with insurability through Vredevoogd's insurance carrier.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug screenings, as well as a comprehensive national background check.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, codes, and best practices.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift over 75 lbs, climb in and out of vehicles, and work in varying weather conditions.
• Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Must live within 45 minutes of Grandville.
