Job summary

ADT Security Services is seeking a Residential Service Technician to troubleshoot and service security systems, advising customers and the care center on system status. You will locate damaged equipment, readjust or replace components, test operations, and coordinate with authorities where needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license; NICET Level 3 certification is preferred, with at least 8 years of related installation/repair experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Nicet Level 3 Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring.
• Readjust equipment, repair or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation.
• Read blueprints, building and electrical plans in order to complete equipment repairs.
• Prepare trouble order forms to report temporary repairs.
• Coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies.
