Job summary

CPI Security in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Residential Installation Technician to install our home security solutions for residential customers. You will follow wiring diagrams, verify system performance, and train customers on operation.

You will build strong customer relationships, ensure safety and quality, and support inventory, paperwork, and onboarding of new technicians. The role offers performance-based earnings with uncapped commissions and comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with construction, cable installation, or low voltage systems is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to handle payments and paperwork.
• Detail-oriented, capable of following technical instructions, and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Install security systems for residential clients according to job specifications and customer needs.
• Provide excellent customer service by establishing positive relationships and offering solutions to enhance their security experience.
• Follow wiring diagrams, hook-up procedures, and safety standards to ensure quality installations.
• Conduct tests to verify system performance and instruct customers on using the equipment.
• Maintain inventory, process paperwork, and support the training of new installation technicians.
