Job summary

Ayers Basement Systems LLC is seeking a Residential Sales and Service Technician in Flint, MI. You will visit customer homes to service existing systems, upsell additional products, and ensure homeowners’ peace of mind with lasting, warrantied solutions.

The role includes on-the-job sales training, base pay plus commission (typical first-year earnings of $80k–$100k), and a benefits package. Schedule is Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays, in a growing residential contractor environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ sales experience or a combination of education and experience showing a proven sales track record.
• Competitive nature with a drive to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Excellent communication skills and relationship-building ability.

Responsibilities

• Drive to customers’ homes for pre-scheduled appointments to service existing systems.
• Build rapport with customers and assess needs.
• Evaluate past Ayers work for potential issues to remedy.
• Recommend additional products and services to enhance installations.
• Complete paperwork and follow-up communication after each appointment.
• Follow through with customers until all issues are resolved and the experience is strong.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
• Act as an ambassador for the company’s culture and purpose.
• Maintain regular, reliable on-site attendance.
