We are looking for a Residential Sales Associate to join our high performing team and help us continue our growth!

CertaPro Painters specializes in beautifying residential and commercial buildings, painting interiors and exteriors of homes, office buildings, warehouses, multi-family properties, retail centers, churches, hotels, and hospitals. Our success is built on delivering a "Brand of Certainty"—certainty of a job well done—focusing on details and our clients' needs to earn "Customers for Life".

Position Overview:

Meet and collaborate with prospective homeowners to meet their painting needs, provide estimates, and build lasting customer relationships. Conduct client consultations, prepare accurate estimates and detailed proposals to set up our painting team for success. The role includes extensive company-provided training during the first six months to one year. Compensation starts with a salary plus commissions during training, transitioning to commission-only afterward.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site and remote customer consultations.
  • Create customized, detailed proposals based on customer needs.
  • Maintain ongoing communication and follow-up with customers.
  • Document activities in CRM system.
  • Prepare weekly results analysis for goal setting with coach/mentor.
  • Follow up diligently with customers.
  • Ensure customer needs and expectations are clearly documented in proposals.
  • Maintain open appointment availability and meet sales goals.
  • Collaborate with office and field teams to ensure expectations are met.
  • While primarily focused on residential clients, some commercial work is expected.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 2-year degree in a related field (not required).
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in customer sales and estimation services.
  • Proven track record as a top performer.
  • History of accomplishments and promotions.
  • Knowledge of interior and exterior paints and coatings.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Goal-oriented, organized, and energetic.

Benefits and Compensation:

  • Competitive salary, commissions, and bonuses in the first year, transitioning to commissions with a draw in the second year.
