Job summary

Element Roofing is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a residential roofing sales team from 3-4 reps toward 6-8 within a year, in collaboration with Operations. You will own training, canvassing strategy, forecasting, and customer experience standards to grow revenue profitably.

You will mentor reps to inspect, present, close, document projects, and coordinate with production, service, and office teams to deliver a seamless customer journey from first contact to final payment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing a high-performance sales team in related trades.
• Proven ability to recruit, train, coach, retain, and manage reps.
• Strong understanding of KPI tracking, pipeline management, and margin protection.
• Experience with both company-generated leads and self-generated lead strategies.
• Ability to coach field reps on presentations, objections, estimating, and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 3-4 person sales team to 6-8 within 12 months with outbound growth.
• Create onboarding/training paths (30/60/90 days) for new reps.
• Manage lead handling, canvassing, and referral programs.
• Oversee pricing, estimating discipline, and margin targets.
• Ensure documentation and handoffs to production are seamless.
• Coach through scripts, pre-close language, and field canvassing.
• Maintain CRM accuracy and reporting to Operations.
